- I grew up on the East Coast of Florida. I attended college in Chicago, Illinois and seminary in Austin, Texas.
While still in my twenties, I became an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). I served churches in Louisiana and Rhode Island. Now I'm a pastor of Western Presbyterian Church in D.C. I finished my first book, Tribal Church: Ministering to the Missing Generation, which was published by The Alban Institute in September 2007.
